Home care involves health-care services provided within a client's home. Home care giving is a collaborative effort involving the client, the client's family, the physician and a professional caregiver to provide caregiving services in the home that improves the client's quality of life by maximizing recovery/support, minimizing illness and disabilities, maintaining or even improving health and promoting client independence along with a renewed sense of well-being.
How Soon Can You Start Home Care?
Generally, we can begin a full schedule of care within 2-7 days after the no cost home evaluation process is complete.
What Our Needs Are Immediate or Rather Urgent?
If you require urgent home care services, At Home Seniors AZ can set up a caregiver to start with you within a 12-hour period.
Does at Home Seniors AZ Have a Minimum Number of Hours for Home Care?
At Home Seniors AZ can offer home care services from a minimum of 3 hours up to 24 hours of around-the-clock care.
Are Light Housekeeping Services Provided?
At Home Seniors AZ, as part of home caregiving services only, will tidy areas of the home used by the client and caregiver. Most specifically, areas of focus are the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. After meal preparation and or consumption of meals, dishes will be rinsed or washed and placed into the dishwasher. If necessary, we will take out the trash and or place proper bins curbside for pickup or recycling. In the bathroom, we will tidy up after personal care is complete. More specifically, we can wipe down the sink after washing up or brushing teeth and combing hair. Cleaning the commode would be completed if soiled, and we will be happy to assist in making the bed or changing the linens. While At Home Seniors AZ does not offer a full or complete housekeeping service, we would be happy to assist you in your search for the perfect maid or house cleaning service. Our daily tidy up service offered with home care typically should not exceed more than half of the time care provider spends with you, our client.
What are ADLs?
Activities of daily living refer to an individual's daily habits. Examples of ADLs include bathing, dressing, eating, moving around, using the bathroom, and walking. ADLs are often used to help determine an individual's ability to function at home or another less-restricted environment of care.
Do You Provide Supportive Hospice Care?
At Home Seniors AZ can support any hospice care company or organization of your choice to follow your physician's recommendations.
Long Term Care Insurance Policy.
If your loved one has a long-term care insurance policy, we can work directly with any company.
